RIDGEWOOD, NJ - The Morristown Colonials fell to Ridgewood 14-4 in the NJSIAA/Investors Bank North Jersey, Section 1, Group 4 final on Friday afternoon, ending Morristown’s run in the state tournament. The contest marked the end of a record season for the Colonials.
 
The game started out evenly, as Morristown controlled the majority of the draw controls and was running a fueled offense. Morristown was down 2-4 when they began to struggle with offensive turnovers. The Ridgewood Maroons soon took over, going on a 7 goal scoring run.

Offensively, Annika Begley scored two goals in the contest. Callie Sundin tallied a goal and an assist. Ava Plott also added a goal and Nicole Ferrara added an assist.

Morristown’s defense faced many shots, with goalie Amelia Drake registering 4 saves in the contest.
 
Although the season-ending game was bittersweet, the Morristown Colonials have a lot to celebrate, as they tallied the most wins this year in their program's history. Morristown ended their season with a final record of 16-6.
