MORRISTOWN, NJ - Not even the rain can stop the Morristown Farmers Market as it sustains it’s twenty seven year tradition. The farmers market is scheduled to run until November 18th on each Sunday from 8:30 am to 2 pm.
The Morristown Partnership, in cooperation with local sponsors have worked to make this event possible. The vendors involved include Pickle-licious, Griggstown Farm, Jeff’s Organic, Valley Shepherd and many more. Many of these vendors are based locally like Shore Catch that was found in Barnegat Light, NJ.
Ester’s Treats is an organic bakery located in several farmers markets in northern New Jersey including the Morristown Farmers Market. The desserts are made from natural ingredients like organic flour, fruit, and their own soy milk. Many of their treats are vegan or dairy free but they also have savory foods.
The Morristown Farmers Market gives this bakery and other vendors the opportunity to sell their to the products to buying customers.
Anne Riker-jolly, a regular shopper at the Morristown Farmers Market, visited the farmers market last weekend despite the dreary weather, explaining that she even brought her poncho and umbrella, just in case. She describes the market as something nice to do on a Sunday. When asked about why she shops here, she said that she enjoys the natural products even though it is more expensive than the grocery store.
As the Morristown Farmers Market maintains its yearly tradition, stop by because there is something for everyone.
