MORRISTOWN, NJ – The Morristown girls basketball machine kept the wheels churning on Wednesday night.

Jimmy Pisciotto’s unbeaten squad rolled up a 48-26 victory against old Iron Hills Conference-Iron Division foe Roxbury to move their season’s mark at 8-0.

As per usual, Elizabeth Strambi led the way for the Colonials with 17 points and four assists, while Kim Calloway was Morristown’s only other double-digit scorer with 14 on the evening. No other Colonial on the roster had more than four points aside from that battery.

Gaels center Giovanna Harrigan—who in the spirit of ethical journalistic disclosure, is a younger sibling of the author—led the way for Roxbury with 12 points in this one.
