MORRISTOWN, NJ - Ten residents from Morristown have earned degrees from area colleges and universities.
William Edwards graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Muhlenberg College. A total of 519 degrees were awarded to 511 students, and 267 students in the Class of 2018 graduated with honors and distinctions.
Ian Kinney graduated from Tufts University on May 20, 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Quantitative Economics (BS) during a university-wide commencement ceremony that featured the awarding of honorary degrees to a number of academic, business and civic leaders making a positive impact on the world.
Matthew Mandel has earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. Mandel was among approximately 3,700 undergraduate and graduate students who received degrees during Georgia Tech's 255th Commencement exercises on May 4-5, 2018, at the McCamish Pavilion.
Michael Palestri, Brian Pezzuti, Michael Rich, William Ulrich and Leann Corwin have all earned degrees from Lehigh Univiersity. Palestri graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics degree with a major in Finance with Honors. Pezzuti graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering degree. Rich graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics degree with a major in Finance. Ulrich graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Business degree. Corwin graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree
Mark Verba earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Widener's College of Arts and Sciences. Widener University conferred degrees to more than 800 undergraduates in a ceremony Saturday, May 19. Commencement was held on Memorial Field at the university.The commencement speaker was former Air Force pilot Maj. Heather "Lucky" Penney, who is widely known for her heroic service on Sept. 11, 2001. She currently serves as senior resident fellow at the Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies at the Air Force Association.
Melissa Wamp graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Bryant University. Inspired to excel, 788 members of Bryant University's Class of 2018 were awarded a Bryant degree at the University's 155th Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 18.
