MORRISTOWN, NJ -  A science show full of oozing, flying, fizzing and color changing demonstrations made its way to Woodland School on Thursday March 16. The program, sponsored by the Morris Educational Foundation (MEF) combined "WOW" science demonstrations with hip hop music, a few jaw dropping dance moves and student competitions.

"The students in the Morris School District are very fortunate to have many enriching assemblies brought to their schools through the funding from the Morris Educational Foundation” said Woodland School Principal Marie Hardenberg,

Students were entertained by Jeffrey Vinokur, The Dancing Scientist, who put on a show featuring high energy demonstrations in hopes of spreading his passion for science. Vinokur, a native of Montvale NJ, holds a master's degree in Biochemistry from UCLA has also performed on television eleven times, hoping to reach as many young minds as possible.

"We are very excited to have this assembly”, said Principal Hardenberg. “It is our intention to make Science come alive for the students at Woodland School. We want the students to become more excited about learning the many facets of Science especially with our Science Fair later this month".
