MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Town of Morristown has announced that cooling centers will open for residents due to the high temperatures.

The Morristown Town Hall Senior Center will be open from 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday June 12 and Tuesday June 13.

The Morristown Fire House will be open Monday June 12 from 1pm - 9pm and Tuesday June 13 from 9am - 9pm.

High heat can make the weather dangerous as well as uncomfortable. The Town reminds residents and community members to take precautions to keep as cool as possible throughout the warm summer months. If possible, stay out of the sun; avoid strenuous activity; drink plenty of water; and wear lightweight clothing.
