MORRISTOWN, NJ - Morristown High School did not receive a ranking according to new rankings published by U.S. News and World Report. The magazine determines rankings based on their performance on state-required tests and how well the high schools prepare students for college.
Randolph High School, Madison High School and Whippany Park High School are other nearby schools not recognized by U. S. News and World Report.
U.S. News uses a College Readiness Index that calculates values based on student performance on state exit exams and internationally available exams on college-level course work (AP® exams) for the 2014-15 school year. Schools are also ranked on how well they prepare students for college. Morristown received a 43.0 on College Readiness, a 45% on English Proficiency and a 21% on Mathematics Proficiency.

McNair of Jersey City, 3) Bergen County Technical of Teterboro, 4) Union County Magnet School, 5) Elizabeth High School, 6) Princeton High School, 7) Chatham High School, 8) Academy for Allied Health Sciences (Scotch Plains | Union County Vo-Tech School District), 9) Marine Academy of Science and Technology (Highlands), 10) West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North.
