MORRISTOWN, NJ - There will be scheduled work taking place in Morristown this coming week.
From Tuesday March 20 through Friday March 23, motorists will encounter temporary road closures and parking restrictions in Morristown.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, work will be performed on the Washington Street Streetscape on Washington Street at Mills between 7am - 4pm.
On Tuesday through Friday, overnight rod and roping work will take place on Morris Street, Elm Street and Madison Avenue. The NJDOT is requiring work to be completed at night. The project will not use heavy equipment placing underground fiber cables.
Also this week, PSE&G will be replacing gas mains on Mills Street, Washington Street, Susses Avenue and Lake Road. This work is ongoing and will install the remiaing tie-in near Ralph Place and another at Sussex and Mills.
All work is subject to change due to weather. Motorists should be aware of delays, temporary road closures and parking restrictions.
