MORRISTOWN, NJ -  The sun is out and the umbrellas are up in Morristown as the sidewalks are transformed into an outdoor dining experience. As of today, twenty-six restaurants are offering outdoor dining and those numbers may increase as the weather continues to get warmer. Last year, Jennifer Wehring, Director of Marketing for the Morristown Partnership  explained how Morristown explodes in the spring and summer with people "enjoying the vibrancy of the downtown".

Today, as temperatures climb to the mid 80's,  Wehring was correct. More and more people could be seen walking casually walking through town, sitting on benches, or sitting under a colorful umbrellas enjoying the weather.

"People like to take advantage of the nice weather and its a nice way to experience Morristown", said Megan Epstein, Manager of Stirling Tavern when asked why people like outdoor dining. "I love sitting outside with friends and a glass of wine enjoying a good meal."
