MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morristown got about three inches of snow accumulation last night, compared to the 20 to 30 inches that officials had warned of, when the “potentially historic” storm that forecasters had predicted turned out to be an average snow storm, at least here in Morristown.
According to The National Weather Service, temperatures will only reach a high of 26 today in Morristown. An additonal inch of snow may accumulate over the course of Tuesday.
A state travel ban remained in effect Tuesday morning and NJ Transit services remained suspended. A winter storm warning is in effect until 12 a.m. on Wednesday.
