MORRIS COUNTY, NJ - When will winter finally be over?  It appeared that spring had sprung on us earlier this week.  Last weekend it was extremely warm.  The clocks are springing forward Sunday morning.  But wait, more winter weather is coming.  It is early so maybe this will all not develop.

The Morris County Emergency Operations Center is monitoring the situation but are asking residents to prepare for what they are calling a "Major Winter Storm".  The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch from Monday evening through Tuesday evening.

According to authorities, the data is suggesting that 1 - 3" of snow will fall per hour and that there will be near blizzard conditions at the height of the storm. The forecast is suggesting that snow accumulations of 12-16" are likely with isolated amounts of 20-24".

Winds will be northeast at 20-25mph with gusts reaching 40-45mph late Monday night into Tuesday.
