MORRISTOWN, NJ - Julissa Materan, Lauren Gilliland, Vicky Pinilla, Nicole Brogan, Roxanne Sabatini, Brittney Daley, Jennifer O’Neill, Carol Angelillo, Karen Fitzpatrick, Jacqueline Tierney and Susan Boyle were among the 22 recipients who received a 2019 scholarship award from The Women's Association for Morristown Medical Center (WAMMC).
Each year, the WAMMC awards scholarships to outstanding Morristown Medical Center employees to help further their continued education, development and leadership skills in the hospital and healthcare field.
“WAMMC’s Scholarship Program for healthcare professionals continues to be a very important part of our ongoing fundraising efforts to support Morristown Medical Center’s goals to provide superior health services to our community,” said Mary Courtemanche, President, Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center.
This year, $44,000 in scholarships were awarded to students working towards their Bachelor of Science and graduate degrees. An additional 14 employees were awarded scholarships from funds managed by Nursing Management at Morristown Medical Center.
