MORRISTOWN, NJ  - Morristown High School student Arthur Wawrzyniak was among the students honored as the Mayo Performing Arts Center Music Students of the month of May for Outstanding Percussionists. Students were from Morristown, Randolph, Jefferson Township, Kinnelon and Mt. Olive.

Wawrzyniak was nominated by David Gallagher. 

"Arthur is a phenomenal percussionist who has demonstrated his talents and leadership across much of our high school music program", stated Gallagher. "He is the principal player for our wind ensemble in addition to playing in our jazz band, marching band, and winter drumline. Arthur also auditioned for several honor bands this year. He made 1st Chair for the North Jersey Area Band Symphonic band and was also accepted into the NJSMA Region I Wind Ensemble. Arthur is talented "all-around" percussionists excelling at snare, mallets, and drum set, just to name a few".
