The following is a job description for Director of Marketing and Communication: The MEF is currently seeking a high-energy, self-motivated Director of Marketing and Communications to lead the development and implementation of the Morris Educational Foundation's (MEF's) marketing strategies and brand management. The Director of Marketing and Communication's mission is to connect with and inspire MEF stakeholders and help engage people with the MEF's cause, moving them toward increasingly active involvement with the organization.

The Director of Marketing and Communication will perform day-to-day marketing functions including maintaining and creating websites, e-communications, social media, and printed collateral; coordinating with the Executive Director, Morris School District, Board of Trustees, and outside vendors to produce marketing materials; supporting the marketing and communications of all MEF grants, programs, special events, campaigns, scholarships, and alumni relations. 
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in related field with over three years professional experience in marketing services, brand/product management and/or communications role, outstanding technology skills, including working proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Drive, and the Adobe Suite.  Experience with the media, and in website, social media, and email marketing management preferred. Familiarity with the education system and the Morris School District a plus.

The following is a job description for Bookkeeper: The MEF is currently seeking a highly organized, energetic, and skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including donations, grants, and scholarships.
The Bookkeeper will work closely with the Executive Director, Administrative and Program Coordinator, and Treasurer to perform all day-to-day financial record keeping and transactions for the MEF. These tasks include making deposits, creating reports, ensuring compliance, and maintaining documentation, all in an exciting, growing, non-profit environment.
Our ideal candidate has experience and understanding of bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles; a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, thoroughness, and confidentiality; knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, procedures, and regulatory requirements; and advanced knowledge of Quickbooks and Excel software
