RANDOLPH, NJ -  Auditions for the musical  'Bright Star' a musical will be held tonight, Tuesday September 10 at CCM's Dragonetti Auditorium

The acclaimed musical, directed by Professor Marielaine Mammon, is inspired by a true story, and features the Tony-nominated score by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell. “Bright Star” tells a sweeping tale of love and redemption set against the rich backdrop of the American South in the 1920s and ’40s

Callbacks will be held on the September 12, at 6:30 p.m. The auditions are open to both college students and the public.

Those auditioning are to sing 32 bars of music in the style of the show and should bring sheet music for the accompanist. Comfortable clothes and jazz shoes/character shoes are suggested for the dance call portion of the audition. Show dates for “Bright Star” are Wednesday through Saturday, October 30 to November 2, at 7:30 p.m., with a Saturday matinee on November 2 at 2 p.m.

 The Dragonetti Auditorium is located at 214 Center Grove Road in Randolph.
