MORRISTOWN, NJ - Community members are invited to view nativity displays from around the world during the Community Nativity Exhibit this weekend, December 6 - 8. The event is hosted by multiple area churches and will take place in the cultural hall of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints.
Members from different churches have come together to create this unique and complementary nativity exhibit with one simple hope in mind — to provide a peaceful place for individuals and families to reflect upon Christ’s sacred birth as they usher in the Christmas season, stated organizers. This is the 8th year the event has taken place. Last year, over 350 nativity sets from over 30 countries were on display.
The Nativity Exhibits will take place on Friday December 6 from 6pm - 9pm, Saturday December 7 from 12noon - 7pm and Sunday December 8 from 12noon - 7pm. During the event, there will be live music performed. Click HERE for a schedule of performances.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints is located at 283 James Street in Morristown.
