MORRISTOWN, NJ - A great way to celebrate America and Independence Day is to visit the Green in Morristown on July 4th where you can hear the grand words of the Declaration of Independence as it is read by Tom Windslow of Morristown National Historical Park at Washington's Headquarters. Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill will be present.

The annual reading of the Declaration of Independence by costumed interpreters will take place on the Morristown Green at noon with activities beginning at 11:30 am. This is a free event as are all of the activities listed below. In case of inclement weather, the reading will be held inside the Presbyterian Church on the Green, 57 East Park Place.
