MORRISTOWN, NJ. Beginning Wednesday, October 4 through Sunday, October 29, at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., join a fascinating tour of The Willows, the Foster family’s mansion, to explore unique death and mourning practices during the Victorian period at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm in Morris Township.
Discover how customs, now considered strange, influenced loved ones for months and years after a person passed. Learn about old these traditions, and compare with those practiced today.
Tours are available Wednesdays through Sundays, October 4 through October 22, Wednesday, October 25 through Friday, October 27, and Sunday, October 29.
This program is appropriate for adults and children ages 12 & up. Admission is $6 per adult, $5 per senior, $4 per child age 4-16. Register for a tour at the Visitors Center reception desk.
