MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Morris Tourism Bureau is now offering their newest collectible ornament. The ornament, titled The Ford Mansion, features the illustration of The Ford Mansion where General George and Martha Washington spent the Christmas of 1779, when Morristown served as the army’s winter headquarters, said bureau officials.  It was here that Washington hired a military band to play music at Headquarters at a cost of 15 pounds, they said

The ornament sells for $10 each and those interested can reserve one in time for the holidays, click HERE

Funding for this project was provided in part through the Cooperative Marketing Grant Program of the New Jersey Department of State, Division of Travel and Tourism.
