MORRISTOWN, NJ - The past two storms have impacted the Morristown National Historical Park. There has been damage from downed trees, loss of power, dangling power lines, and two feet of snow have made conditions unsafe for the public in certain areas.

The following areas are CLOSED until further notice:
*Jockey Hollow (Visitor Center, trails, tour road)
*Fort Nonsense
*New Jersey Brigade/Cross Estate

The Washington’s Headquarters Museum and Ford Mansion are open and operating under the regular schedule (9:30 am- 5 pm, Wednesday - Sunday).

Wednesday, March 14, 2018 is the target date to have all park areas open to the public. Park Rangers will re-assess on Tuesday and extend closures if needed. Updates will be posted on the park website at www.nps.gov/morr as well as social media sites.
