MORRISTOWN, NJ - Residents and commuters are being reminded that on Tuesday November 19, James Street will be closed to traffic for planned utility work.

According to town officials, from 6am until 5pm, James Street traffic will be diverted to Miller Road and Maple Avenue to bypass the one block road closure. Motorists should plan alternate route.

As part of the planned utility work, power will be suspended to 40 addresses.  Those homeowners who would have electricity shut off, should have received a written notice. Residents who did not receive a notice will not be affected.
