MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ - A lane closure on Route 24 westbound in Morris Township will begin next week, announced the New Jersey Department of Transportation. The closure will allow for drainage improvement project, they said. The construction group is scheduled to close the right lane on Route 24 westbound before Exit 1B.
The closure will begin Monday June 15 at 7am and continue through 3pm.
One lane, as well as the exit, will be open at all times. The shoulder is expected to be closed for approximately three weeks. If work is completed early, the shoulder will be reopened sooner.
