MORRISTOWN, NJ - Dunkin' Donuts is celebrating National Donut Day this Friday June 7. Customers can get a FREE donut with the purchase of any beverage.
In previous years, guest were given a choice of donuts. This year, guests can choose from any donut. The offer runs all day, but for three straight years, the Dunkin Donuts located at 30 Lafayette Avenue in Morristown has run out of donuts.
In the past few years, the Morristown store has given away over 2,000 donuts.
According to their website, Dunkin Donut Day was "originally established in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army to honor women who served donuts to soldiers during World War I. The holiday is traditionally celebrated on the first Friday of June.
