MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ- The Columbia Turnpike Bridge will be undergoing improvements to address structural deficiencies of the 90 year old bridge and increase safety for motorists.The low-lying bridge is located on Columbia Turnpike (County Route 510), adjacent to the Morristown Airport runways, and runs over the Black Brook in Florham Park.
There will be a public information meeting on September 11 in Morris Township to update the public on the status and schedule of the project. During this session, residents will have an opportunity to provide comments. The session will take place from 5:30pm - 8pm at the Hyatt House Hotel, 194 Park Avenue in Morristown.
"We again urge residents to attend these information sessions so they can learn, first-hand about this proposed work and to offer their advice to the professionals who are working on these projects,'' said Morris County Freeholder John Cesaro.
