MORRISTOWN, NJ - Tickets to the 13th Annual Morristown ONSTAGE go on sale today, Wednesday, January 29 at 12 noon.

Morristown ONSTAGE features the best amateur talent from Morristown, Morris Plains and Morris Township. The show will be held February 26 at the Mayo Performing Arts Center.

The night raises money for the Morris School District through the Morris Educational Foundation. According to the MEF, last year, the event raised $175,00 and the organization is striving to surpass that record to continue to distribute financial and other resources to and for students in the Morris School District.

The theme for this year’s event is 20/20 Seeing Is Believing, and will celebrate vision, hope and achievement, which is perfectly matched for the 14 vibrant and dedicated group of finalists. As in years past, the finalists will compete for the 1 st place $1,000 cash prize for contestants ages 19 and over, 1 st place $1,000 cash prize for contestants ages 18 and under, a $500 award for the “Audience Choice” text-to-vote winner at the end of the show, and the $250 Rossoff Rising Star Award for talent training chosen by the Morristown ONSTAGE Steering Committee. Five distinguished arts and entertainment professionals will judge the competition.

“The Morris Educational Foundation is excited to announce the ticket on sale date for our 13 th annual production of Morristown ONSTAGE”, said Melanie Smith, Morristown ONSTAGE event chair and member of the Morris Educational Foundation Board of Trustees. “We look forward to showcasing the amazing talent that exists each year, and the 2020 stellar lineup of contestants is sure to inspire guests of all ages. With the tremendous level of competition coupled with a record number of performers this year, we anticipate selling out the beautiful Mayo Performing Arts Center once again and encourage guests to buy their tickets early.”
