MORRIS PLAINS, NJ -The Morris Plains Municipal Alliance is sponsoring an important event tonight, Monday March 26. The event titled, "Don't Press Send; Kind & Careful On-Line Communication" will focus on teaching strategies to navigate the technological world. The event will take place at the Morris Plains Borough School Auditorium at 7:30pm.
This presentation is for parents only and will discuss the importance of creating a safer, kinder cyber community by teaching people how to navigate social media, how to create a healthy balance with technology as well as providing tips on protecting children from engaging in dangerous or illegal activities online.
Katie Schumacher, author and founder of the Don't Press Send Campaign will also give an overview of the Don't Press Send Pledge and teach technological responsibility.
