MORRISTOWN, NJ - Nunzios Dolce Vita has announced that the restaurant will shut their doors and no longer serve the Morristown community. In a Facebook post, the restaurant stated that Friday, July 31 will be their last day of business.

The pandemic has shut town town favorites; Nunzios, Morristown Pancake House and La Campagna.

The Facebook post read, "to all our loyal followers, guests and casual followers, I want to thank all of you for your patronage, support and feedback over the last 4 years. Unfortunately due to coronavirus our business has not made the money it takes to pay rent and so Friday July 31 will be our last day open. Thanks to all our followers for your patronage, feedback and support over the last 4 years.

Readers were quick to react. Many praised Chef Nuzio and his food. 

"You are amazingly talented. I have no doubt that wherever you end up it will be great. Wishing you nothing but the best", wrote one.

"Very sad to hear this news Chef Nunzio. No one deserves this, you have worked so hard Your food is delicious and your staff is attentive. This breaks my heart. I wish you and your family only best wishes as you move on to other things", wrote another.
