MORRISTOWN, NJ -  Collins Pub has announced that they will be reopening on Monday, August 3. In the Facebook post, the pub stated that kitchen and drink hours are 2pm - 8pm.

"We really hope this finds everyone healthy, happy and moving forward as best you can considering the current circumstances", the post read."We are so happy to see that things appear to be running smoothly for so many of our local restaurants, as it is not an easy task. After 20 weeks we have decided to give it a try, but this will all be VERY NEW to us and we ask for your patience while we give outdoor dining (& take out) a go. We look forward to seeing you all after so long".

Guests must follow all New Jersey guidelines, or they will be asked to leave, they said. The rules that must be followed are:

  • You must be seated at all times.
  • Socially distance yourselves by staying 6 ft apart
  • Masks must be worn while waiting for take out or while waiting for a table
  • Masks must be worn indoors when restrooms are being used.
  • Have respect for others

Many members of the community were excited to hear the news.

"Go glad to hear this", wrote one follower. "You're our favorite place."

Collins Pub is located at 688 S[eedwell Avenue, Morris Plains.
