MORRISTOWN, NJ - Denville Resident and recent Morris Knolls graduate, Isha Patel has received a $1000 award from The Zonta Club of Morristown Area, announced the organization.

The award is given annually to a young woman, age 16-19, who demonstrates superior leadership skills and a commitment to public service and civic causes and encourages them to continue their participation in public and political life. ZCMA has a 60+ year record of advocacy and service in Morris County, said organization officials.

Patel will be attending Rutgers University in the fall.

The Zonta Club of Morristown will be offering a new scholarship honoring the life of long time Zontonian, Barbara Albanese of Morristown> The award will be given to a woman returning to college to complete a degree.

The Zonta Club of Morristown Area, a local club of Zonta International (Zonta.org), meets monthly. Members live in various counties throughout Northern NJ. New members are welcome and can get  membership information at zontamorristown.com .
