MORRISTOWN, NJ -  Morris County's mobile social-services-center-on-wheels, Navigating Hope, will be making several stops in Morristown during the month of March. Navigating Hope offers on-site benefits eligibility screenings and application assistance, plus linkage to other community services. It is a partnership between the Morris County Department of Human Services and Family Promise of Morris County. Offerings include:

  • EITC (tax credits)
  • WIC (nutritional assistance)
  • Aging services
  • Domestic violence services
  • Veterans services
  • Health & wellness services
  • Legal services
  • Mental health
  • Transportation

Navigating Hope will be in Morristown on:

  • March 4: County College of Morris Student Center, 214 Center Grove Road in Randolph
  • March 5: Parsippany Municipal Court, 3333 Route 45 East in Parsippany
  • March 6: Landloard Tenant Court in the Morris County Courthouse, 1 Court Street in Morristown.
  • March 9: Stop & Shop, 245 Littleton Road, Morris Plains
  • March 13: Landlord Tenant Court, Morris County Courthouse, 1 Court St., Morristown 
  • March 16: ShopRite of Flanders, 90 Bartley Road, Flanders (Mt. Olive Twp.)
  • March 19: Morris County Library, 30 East Hanover Ave., Whippany
  • March 20: Landlord Tenant Court, Morris County Courthouse, 1 Court St., Morristown
  • March 26: Trinity Soup Kitchen, 123 E. Blackwell St., Dover
  • March 27: Landlord Tenant Court, Morris County Courthouse, 1 Court St., Morristown
  • March 30: Nourish NJ Community Soup Kitchen, 36 South Street, Morristown

“We are reaching out to residents in all areas of Morris County with Navigating Hope and Hope One to provide Stigma-Free assistance, counseling, and treatment for county residents in need,’’ said Morris County Freeholder Kathy DeFillippo, liaison to the county’s Human Services agencies. "These are residents who may not be able to travel to county offices or who have fallen through the cracks of the system".

"Morris County is the accessible county", added Freeholder Director Deborah Smith. "If you can't get to us, we'll get to you. I think that's the whole point behind Navigating Hope."
