MORRISTOWN, NJ – The holiday's have come and gone and now it's time to pack all the decorations away for another year.
Do you have too many decorations? Maybe you have some that you have outgrown? Don't throw them away, donated them. The Women's Club of Morristown is asking the community to donate new, like-new or vintage holiday ornaments, lights and decorative items as well as any unused gift wrap, boxed cards, holiday kitchenware, and specialty gift items. At this time, the organization is not accepting toys.
The items representing all holidays from Thanksgiving to New Year are welcome. The items will be used for the organization's annual Holiday Bazaar which is held each November. The Holiday Bazaar raises funds for charitable projects such as scholarships and aid to veterans.
Items should be clean, undamaged, and, for lights and electrical items, in working order. Donations may be left in the pantry of the Woman's Club at 51 South Street, Morristown, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, after January 5. Receipts will be available for donors wishing acknowledgment. The WCM is a 501(c)(3) organization.
