MORRIS PLAINS, NJ - Morris Plains has reported its first case of Coronavirus, confirmed Mayor Jason Karr.
"The confirmed case does not pose a risk to the public", said Karr. "Residents are urged to continue to take preventive measures, washing hands with soap and water, practicing respiratory etiquette, strictly following social distance recommendations, and please stay home if you are ill"
"I am sharing this update, not to cause panic or alarm but to remind residents to remain vigilant following coronavirus recommendations", Karr continued.
As of yesterday, there were a total of 890 cases in New Jersey, 35 in Morris County.
