MORRISTOWN, NJ - Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty gave his daily update to the community by first reporting that numbers in Morristown have climbed to 102 positive cases of COVID-19.

"We are in that peak period so it's important that we adhere to all the CDC rules", said Dougherty. "Please wear face masks when they are out, especially when you go into the essential stores."

As the third week of social distancing comes to an end, the mayor is suggesting getting some Spring cleaning done.

"Put some music on and try to get as upbeat as you can", he said. " I know it's a really difficult time, but it's important that we adhere to all the recommendations'"

Dougherty thinks that it will be a few more weeks until the curve starts to go down.

"Hang in there", he said. "If you need us, you have the numbers to Town Hall, call us. Email us"
