GROW IT GREEN MORRISTOWN ADDS BILINGUAL EDUCATIONAL SIGNAGE AT THE EARLY STREET COMMUNITY GARDEN

(MORRISTOWN, NJ – September 17, 2019)—Grow it Green Morristown is pleased to announce the addition of bilingual interpretative signs describing each of the sustainable elements at the Early Street Garden: the apiary, bike repair station, native plants, rain gardens and cisterns, solar panels, walking path, and recycled-content seating. Bilingual educational signs at the Early Street Community Garden (ESCG) in Morristown will help the public understand the various sustainable design elements incorporated into the garden and public parklet.

The addition of these signs to the community garden and public parklet will reach a broader audience and to better serve garden neighbors and the broader community. During the growing season, Grow It Green holds a Pop-up Farm Stand that alternates between the Early Street Garden and the Morristown Neighborhood House. These signs will help create an improved sense of community among gardeners and park patrons. The public is invited to visit the garden to see the new signage and learn about the parklet’s sustainable elements.
