MORRISTOWN, NJ - Heavy rain and strong winds are being predicted for our area later Wednesday afternoon into Thursday.

According to the National Weather Service, the storm  will produce heavy rainfall and localized flooding across these areas. Additionally, strong winds may cause some tree damage and power outages. Residents are urged to use caution.

Rain is expected to begin after 1pm, said weather authorities. Overnight rain could be heavy with wind gusts as high as 33 mph. Thursday there will be a chance of showers before 8am. Gusts could be as high as 38mph.
