CEDAR KNOLLS, NJ - Residents across New Jersey are invited to participate in a friendly three-week competition where they replace solo car trips with biking, walking or carpooling. The competition titled TripSwitch 2019 is hosted by TransOptions.

In 2018, Morristown resident Christopher Buck came in second place with 68 trips with 958 miles. He earned a $150 Visa Gift Card. Joseph LeVela of Chatham secured first place by logging 103 trips with 235 miles. He received a $250 Visa Gift Card. Third place and a $100 Visa Gift Card went to Amanda Doughty of Parsippany who logged 60 total trips with 441 miles.

The annual competition is being held the month of October and ending October 22.
