MORRISTOWN, NJ - A wind advisory is in effect for the Morristown area for Thursday, April 9 into Friday April 10, according to the National Weather Service. The wind advisory is posted form 12noon to 5pm today for Morris and neighboring Sussex, Warren, Hunterdon, and Somerset counties.
The highest wind gusts are forecasted for Thursday. Some areas could see wind gusts up to 45 mph, said the National Weather Service. According to the forecast, there will be showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 3pm.
Temperatures will climb to 60 degrees today before falling to mid 30's overnight, they stated.
Friday will be breezy with mostly sun and a high of 52 degrees.
