MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Morristown High School World Language Department in collaboration with the Spanish Honor Society and LUNA Club will host the fourth annual "La Noche de la Hispanidad" (Hispanic Heritage Night) on Friday April 5th from 6pm - 9pm in the Morristown High School Cafeteria.
Open to the community, "La Noche de la Hispanidad" is a celebration of the Hispanic language, heritage, and culture. Aside from being a fun and lively celebration, "La Noche de la Hispanidad" is also a fundraiser for a great cause.
The night will feature delicious food donated by local restaurants, music, dancing, and most importantly, student performances. The students have worked very hard to showcase their talents and share elements of the Hispanic culture with their fellow students, teachers, family and members of the community.
There is no entrance fee, however there is a $5 fee for each plate of food. Money raised will be donated to the "Dream Realized Scholarship", a scholarship which will be awarded to two graduating seniors from Morristown High School's bilingual program.
