MORRISTOWN, NJ - Morristown residents are urged not to click on emails labeled as "Urgent" or "New COVID-19 Data".

With many new cases of Coronavirus being recorded daily, the bad guys know that many people are afraid — and they plan to exploit that fear, warns the Morris County Office of Information Technology.

They are sending phishing emails claiming to have official “new” or “updated” data on COVID-19 in your area, the said. According to officials, these emails are intense, urgent, and are designed to spark a knee-jerk reaction.
