MORRISTOWN, NJ - Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty provided residents with a daily update on Friday, April 24. 

"This is the ending of another week", said Dougherty. "As we continue to struggle through and keep hoping for the best". 

The mayor reminded people to keep practicing physical and social distancing, to wash hands often and wear face protection. He said to please cover your nose when wearing face protection.

"Don't forget to thank the people you see", said Mayor Dougherty. He referenced Alicia Keys new song, Good Job and encouraged everyone to Google it and watch it.

"Thank the people we see every day, that go to work to help us during the pandemic", he said. "If you are at the store, say thank you. Today is a day to be thankful"
