MORRISTOWN, NJ -  Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty gave residents an update on Monday morning.

The new numbers continue to rise, according to Mayor Dougherty. 

"The new numbers as of this morning are 125 positives in Morristown", he said. "And that reminds us to keep our social and physical distancing going on. This is the time that we really have to practice that physical distancing", he said.

Residents are reminded to call Town Hall if you have any questions. The number to call is 973-292-6629.

Mayor Dougherty is going to try to do something different every day and today, he said, is reach out and call someone day.

"Call a grandmother, a grandfather. Call a neighbor. Call a family member. Call a co-worker". said Mayor Dougherty. "Call people you know and check on them because you don't know how much a call could mean in this time of crisis".
