MORRISTOWN, NJ - Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty provided residents with a daily update on Thursday April 23. The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Morristown has increased to 354, said Mayor Dougherty.
Mayor Dougherty emphasized that residents should not hesitate to go to Morristown Medical Center.
"The hospital is open", said Dougherty. "They are doing fine. They are waiting for you. If you have any issue, do not hesitate to call 911 or to go to the emergency room"
According to the mayor, today is "thank the volunteers day".
"There are so many different organizations and individuals that are doing so much", said Dougherty. "I want to thank all the volunteers. Morristown is an incredible place. New Jersey as a whole."
