MORRISTOWN, NJ - Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty provided residents with a daily update on Monday April 13. 

Mayor Dougherty began by stating that positive cases of COVID-19 are up from the weekend at 222. He mentioned the weather and cautioned residents of power lines and trees falling due to the high winds.

"Remember to keep practicing our social and physical distancing, wash your hands a lot", said Mayor Dougherty. "If you have to go out, make sure you wear face protection to any stores".

If residents enter a store and see an employee not wearing a mask or gloves, Mayor Dougherty is asking you to call the Morristown Police Department at 973-538-2200, press 0 for operator and report them.

"It's difficult and it's a drain on a lot of people, financially, physically, but hang in there and we will all get through this together", he said.
