MORRISTOWN, NJ - Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty, provided residents with an update on Thursday July 2, while inside Town Hall> Mayor Dougherty reminded residents that Governor Murphy has cancelled indoor dining.
"Our outside dining is open", said Dougherty. "We have put up barriers to extend into the parking areas so the restaurants have some more tables they can put out."
If you are eating out, Dougherty reminded everyone to keep your distance and wear a mask when you're not eating and wash your hands.
"This is the fourth of July weekend and I want everyone to stay safe", he said. "There are no fireworks, but please be careful".
"Let's keep New Jersey strong. Let's keep it smart. Let's follow the Governor's directions and let's make sure we continue to practice all the principals that keep this curve flat", he said.
