MORRISTOWN, NJ - Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty, in a mask, stood with Councilwoman Tawanna Cotten, and provided residents with a daily update.
When discussing the new positive COVID-19 cases, Mayor Dougherty stated that those are from long term care facilities.
"We want to remind everybody to practice their social distancing", he said. "Wash your hands often and wear your masks".
Mayor Dougherty introduced councilwoman Tawanna Cotten. Cotten encouraged residents to fill out the 2020 census.
"It's really important that we fill out the census", said Dougherty. "It really has a lot to do with federal dollars coming to our community. It's really important that we all get counted."
