MORRISTOWN, NJ - Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty provided residents with a daily update on Thursday May 7 while standing in front of SmartWorld Coffee, which reopened today.

In the daily video, the Mayor, along with SmartWorld Coffee owner Dave Walters, took a walk inside the store to see what SmartWorld Coffee did to get the store ready.  Customers are able to come into the store to order. The store is also offering curbside pickup.

Dougherty pointed out that there are signs on the ground.

"There are only 2 people are allowed in the store", Dougherty said. "If you look on top, you can see all the plexiglass and rearrangement. It's safe, not only for the public but for his workers".

All employees will be wearing gloves and face masks and there will be bleaching and sanitizing stations behind the counter, said Walters.  He encouraged any business who needs guidance in purchasing plexiglass or other materials needed to reopen, to reach out to him.
