PARSIPPANY, NJ - Parsippany's Rescue and Recovery organization announced the passing of Past Chief and President, Charles Bedi. Charlie was a dedicated Parsippany volunteer for the last 48 years.
Charlie played an instrumental role in creating the Parsippany Rescue and Recovery organization. As an active volunteer, his dedication to the squad and the community was unwavering.
Mayor Micheal Soriano has ordered all township flags to half mast through Sunday November 1st.
According to the organization, "His guidance has left a lasting impact on our volunteers, past present and future. We thank Charlie's family for the sacrifices made over the last 48 years as he answered the call. Rest In Peace Charlie. We'll take it from here."
