2 Men Arrested in Morris Township for Shooting BB Guns and Smoking Marijuana

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ -  Twenty year old Santiango Montescatano  of Dover was arrested along with twenty one year old Daniel Gomez  of Rockaway after Patrolman Kevin Yarzab found the men shooting a BB gun into a pond while engaging in drug activity, stated police.

Sidewalk and Bridge Repairs in Morristown

MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Town of Morristown is informing residents that sidewalk and bridge repairs will be taking place on Martin Luther King Avenue. The work will take place between Cola Avenue adn Flagler Street.

Access Restricted on DeHart Street in Morristown Beginning Tuesday October 3

MORRISTOWN, NJ - Access to DeHart Street will be restricted on October 3 through October 5 so that scaffolding can be removed.

The DeHart Street Garage will remain open but the entrance and exit will be closed from 9am - 4:30pm. Access to the parking garage will be on Maple Avenue.

Morris County Sheriff's Office Adopts Shelter Dog for K-9 Unit

MORRISTOWN, NJ - Boomer, an eight month old German Shepard/Labrador Mix was adopted by the Morris County Sheriff's office. The dog, who was adopted from the Parsippany Animal Shelter will be trained as an explosive detection dog.

Boomer, previously Becker, passed the K-9 Section's rigorous preliminary testing before he was adopted.
