MORRIS PLAINS, NJ - Morristown resident Anthony Ligon, 61, has been charged with sexual assault and an act of sexual contact on a female resident at Arbor Terrace Senior Living Facility in Morris Plains, announced Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp, Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Acting Chief of Investigations Christoph Kimker, and Morris Plains Police Department Chief Michael M. Koroski.

According to authorities, on July 3, 2020, Ligon is alleged to have committed a sexual assault on the 82 resident at the facility. At the time of the assault, he was employed as a maintenance technician at Arbor Terrace, they said.

Ligon is currently being held at the Morris County Correctional Facility.
