MORRISTOWN, NJ - As the community mourns the death of Amani Kildea, Black Lives Matter Morristown will hold a candlelight vigil on Thursday July 16. The event will take place from 4-6pm at Lewis Morris Park.

The vigil will honor the life and memory of Amani, wrote organizers.

"The circumstances surrounding Amani's untimely death have been detrimental to Morris County", said organizers. "We hope by honoring Amani, this can start the healing process."

Organizers stated that those attending must wear face masks and maintain a 6 ft distance at all times.

"Stay home if you are feeling sick", they said.
